Cut Options

  • Turkey Crown — breast on the bone, the centrepiece cut for roasting
  • Turkey Breast – Boneless — lean and easy to slice, great for roasting or stuffing
  • Turkey Thighs — darker, more flavourful, ideal for slow cooking or braising
  • Turkey Mince — lean alternative to beef mince, great for burgers and sauces

Cooking Methods

  • Oven Roast (Crown/Breast) — butter under the skin, roast at 180°C for 20 min per 500g plus 20 min extra
  • Slow Braise (Thighs) — brown first, then slow cook in stock and herbs for 2–3 hours
  • Pan Fry (Breast Slices) — thin slices, 3–4 min per side on medium heat
  • Turkey Burgers (Mince) — mix with onion and herbs, grill or pan fry until cooked through

Butcher's tip: Turkey breast dries out quickly — baste regularly during roasting and always rest for at least 20 minutes before carving to keep it juicy.
